The complete refurbishment and extension of an early 20th century detached house in Pinner, N London.

The design aim was to renovate the existing property to modern living requirements, creating an open plan kitchen / living / dining area that connected the previously disjointed rooms, and extended to the rear. An additional side extension created a new garage, wc and utility.

Vertically stacked bricks and large aluminium glazed doors were used to contrast the existing house, with the new extensions creating a better connection to the rear garden.
